Belton Booster Club

Our Pirate Athletes need

 YOU to join the
Belton Booster Club!

More than 300 young men and women participate in Belton High School's Athletic Program. Hundreds more participate as spectators, socializing at games, and cheering on their classmates. A strong sports

program keeps kids involved and builds school pride. Over the last several years, our

teams have won numerous championships, and made it to the State playoffs.

But the school can't supply everything our teams need.

That's where we come in.

What is the Belton Booster Club?
We're a group of community members, parents, teachers, students, alumni, coaches, business owners,
and neighbors, who help support our teams by donating and raising funds, running concession stands
at home games, and helping with setup at sporting events. We offer a line of Pirate spirit wear
throughout the year. The money we raise goes toward facilities projects, equipment and
supplies for BHS teams as we promote school and community spirit through sports.

Booster Club Mission Statement

The mission of the Belton Booster Club is to facilitate and promote the activities of the Belton sports,

dance and cheer programs. The Booster Club will work with the Belton coaches and administration in

identifying specific needs of the programs in the areas of building morale, boosting attendance,

good sportsmanship and providing an enjoyable healthy environment for the Belton athletes,

coaches, and parents. The Booster Club will also be responsible for raising funds

required to meet our objectives.

**Working in the concession stand allows you to directly contribute funds to the team of your choosing.  When you are volunteering in the concession stand please sign the "Roster" and also note what team you wish to support with your hours/units of time spent working in the concession stand.  At the end of the school year the hours/units of time are tallied and each team is given a check.

Annual Items:

  • Free Sports Physicals Night, other area schools provide these as well but at a cost to the athlete but at Belton we want to ensure there is a means for any of our athletes to have a physical so the Booster Club takes care of the costs.
  • Roses are provided at each sports Senior Recognition Night
  • Hospitality Room provided at the annual Belton Track Meet

We've Already had Already Success in the 2010-2011 School Year

Even though the new school year is just now underway, the Boosters have been hard at work and have already provided the following new items -

Belton Pirate Pride Banners - The banners are along the light poles on 58 highway

Fall Sports Auction - This was a GREAT success and a Fantastic way to start of the Fall Sports Season.

Please click the icon below to view the Fall Sports Auction Results

Drive for UR School Event - This was the first time Belton participated in this national program provided by Ford Motor, and we were also excited our local Kohl's store and many of their professionals assisted us throughout the whole event.

Discussions are underway to possibly make this a annual event for each of the sports seasons, Fall/Winter/Spring...what do you think?
